Location – How to reach the Danube Planet Trail

You can reach Vilshofen on the Danube and the Danube Planet Trail

By train:
From Munich, from Regensburg or from Linz with a subsequent bike tour.

By car:
From Munich via A92 to Deggendorf and then A3 towards Passau, exit Hengersberg. From Winzer you go by bike on a round trip to Vilshofen and Osterhofen.

With trailer or mobile home:
You can use the facilities of the Boat terminal and cycling terminals.

On a bike:
As part of a larger bike tour, i.e.: From Donaueschingen to Vienna.

On a cruise ship:
Landing at the shipping pier at the Vilshofen Danube Promenade. From there it is a small hike (4 km) over the Danube bridge and up the Danube.

By boat:
From Regensburg to Passau on the free-flowing Danube between Straubing and Vilshofen. You can stop at the landing of the Vilshofen Rowing Club.

With the cruise ship Agnes Bernauer:
A short stop on the ride from Deggendorf to Passau.
